Lake Nicaragua: Arrangements can be made with local fishermen at Lake Nicaragua (northern end). The southern end of the lake appears to have some organized fishing operations.
Alantic Coast: Corn Island on the Atlantic side is probably the best organized for deep sea fishing. Bluefield (Atlantic) has one professional sport fishing operation (rivers and lagoons).

Pacific coast: Pacific coast fishing is excellent, but arrangements must usually be made with local fisheremen or at your hotel (on the coast). There is one professional fishing operation in San Juan del Sur, a major tourist destination.
River: There are several fishing and river tour "camps" along the San Juan River.
